Makeup Art Program Info
- At Rada Beaute Academy, on location Professional Hair Design and Makeup Art Program is 90 hours/ One month in total with practice time.
- Our classes are held Monday & Tuesday only at our Salon Picasso/ Rada Beaute Academy Abbotsford location.
- Time is 9.30am – 5.30pm.
- You will receive additional practice days, Wednesday – Friday according to your schedule.
- Testing day will be March 31st, 9am-2:30pm. You are required to provide your own model for this day to create a full hair & makeup look.
- Each course is 5 days duration with a break & a lunch break.
- In Hair design program, no models are required each day. You will be practicing on a hair mannequin.
- In Makeup program, models are required at 1.45pm each day or you can practice on makeup mannequins / on each other / on yourselves.
- You will receive a professional certification after completion of both Hair or Makeup programs.
Online Hair Design & Makeup Art Classes:
- At Rada Beaute Academy, online Professional Hair Design and Makeup Art Program duration is three months, total 12 weeks.
- You will receive full professional hair and makeup kits.
- You will receive a full access to our online hair design and makeup program website.
- You will be learning all your beauty education through our expert hair design and makeup videos created by our award-winning educators.
- You will be practicing at your own time. weekly bases to finish your learning tasks and submit your homework online to your instructor.
- You will receive 2 sessions, one hour long each week with your instructor to discuss your learning and answer any questions you may have.
- You will receive unlimited access with your instructor by email.
- You will have over view discussions with your instructor after completion of each week of learning.
- You will receive a professional certification after completion of both Hair or Makeup programs.
This specialized course on makeup artistry covers daytime casual soft glowing to glamorous evening makeup techniques. You will learn fundamental makeup methods step by step, gaining knowledge of all skin types. With our clear and hands-on instruction, you will acquire expertise in foundation application, highlighting and contouring, including concealing the under-eye area and unpigmented skin. Our award-winning instructors will teach you how to apply eye shadow priming, application and blending shadow colours, while also teaching liquid and pencil eyeliner methods to refine the look of your client. Learn how to enhance the beauty of lips, eyelashes and blush with techniques focused on false eyelash application, custom blush blending, and our unique lip liner and lipstick techniques. This module will enhance and expand your knowledge of current beauty products and its application in professional salon settings. Our instructors will demonstrate all the essentials of makeup artistry on top of our award-winning practices in non-bridal and bridal daytime or evening makeup techniques. You will learn, practice and develop:
- Skin care and skin preparation basics for makeup applications
- Skin type and face shape analysis
- Primer, foundation application, matching foundation shades, and contouring techniques for unique face shapes
- Product knowledge and usage, such as blending, stippling, concealing imperfections and more
- Full foundation applications of age from 20's - 60's
- Proper product usage, such as gel liner, liquid liner or pencil line
- False lash applications
- Bridal and non-bridal looks
- Glamour day and evening makeup application
- Natural look makeup, transitioning to drama effect
- 15 Evening glamour to Smokey eye makeup looks
- Airbrush applications
After each learning activity, students will practice and recreate all the learning outcomes in the classroom environment with their instructor.
